About me:
Hi! I’m Liza — a South African content creator and storyteller passionate about showcasing local travel, lifestyle, and the small businesses that make our communities special.
How this all began:
This journey began as a personal one — trying to make sense of a city after an unexpected move from Johannesburg to Cape Town (although even before that, I was sharing content about Joburg on my social media). Through exploring the hidden corners of Cape Town and choosing to share what I discovered with those around me, I’ve built a platform dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, and experiences that make this place so special.

My mission:
what started as a simple love for discovering new places quickly grew into a full-time mission: helping both locals and visitors experience South Africa in the most authentic and meaningful way possible. Whether it’s a tucked-away coffee shop, a family-run guesthouse, or a scenic route worth the detour, I believe in shining a light on the lesser-known gems that truly deserve our support. I don’t just want to tell people where to go, but rather help them understand why these places matter.
